In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) welcomed the agreement and expressed its hope that it would serve as a positive step towards creating an environment conducive to regional stability. The Ministry also underscored the importance of continued effective international coordination to prevent further escalation and mitigate the humanitarian and security repercussions across the region.

The Ministry reaffirmed the UAE's full solidarity with Lebanon and its support at this critical juncture, including backing efforts to ensure that arms remain solely in the hands of the state and to dismantle terrorist organisations, describing this as a key step towards consolidating national security and stability.

The Ministry further reaffirmed the UAE's unwavering commitment to supporting Lebanon's unity, sovereignty and territorial integrity, while reiterating its support for the brotherly Lebanese people in achieving their aspirations for security, stability, development and prosperity.
