President Aoun praised His Highness for the UAE's continued support for Lebanon and its people, and wished the nation further progress and prosperity.

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Excellency Joseph Aoun, President of the Lebanese Republic also discussed a number of regional issues of mutual interest, particularly developments in the Middle East. They emphasised the importance of sustaining efforts to strengthen security and stability and promote peace across the region to support the development and prosperity of its nations and peoples.
