Sharjah 24 – Reuters: The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) has confirmed that Neymar will miss Brazil’s Group C match against Haiti at the 2026 World Cup as he continues his recovery from injury.

Recovery from calf injury

The 34-year-old forward recently returned to light training after suffering a right calf muscle injury while playing for Santos, with Brazil opting not to rush his comeback.

Focus on full fitness

Coach Carlo Ancelotti and the technical staff decided to keep Neymar in New Jersey to complete the final stage of his rehabilitation, aiming to avoid any setbacks during the tournament.

Brazil prepare for Haiti clash

Brazil will look to improve after a 1-1 draw against Morocco in their opening match as they face Haiti in their second Group C fixture.
