Intisar Al Obaidli, Curator of the Sharjah Museum of Islamic Civilization, said the camp has been designed to provide participants with an engaging summer experience that combines learning and entertainment in a safe and stimulating museum environment.
Al Obaidli explained that the programme features a range of innovative activities delivered through enjoyable methods tailored to the abilities of People of Determination.
The camp encourages participants to express themselves, discover their talents and build positive relationships with their peers through creative, interactive experiences.
Participants will also have the opportunity to explore the museum’s galleries and learn about its historical collections, which will take them on a journey through the rich heritage and achievements of Islamic civilisation.
The initiative supports efforts to enhance inclusion, strengthen social engagement, and provide enriching educational opportunities for students at special education centres.
