Dr Ahmed Al Ali, Deputy Director of the Strategic Planning and Performance Department at SEDD, affirmed that the department’s regular participation in SIBF reflects its belief in the fair’s role as a cultural and intellectual platform that connects with a broad public audience. He explained that the workshops are aligned with SDED’s vision of building a knowledge-based economy and ensuring that the department remains an active contributor to Sharjah’s cultural and economic dialogue through initiatives that raise awareness and equip individuals with skills to meet the demands of sustainable development.
Dr Al Ali added that such initiatives strengthen partnerships between the government and academic sectors while supporting innovation and the development of national talent—further reinforcing Sharjah’s position as a leading hub for economic and intellectual growth.
The activities concluded with strong engagement from participants, who praised SEDD's role in advancing economic literacy and emphasised the importance of continuing initiatives that connect culture, knowledge, and development.
