SIBF hosts over 550 authors at Signature Corner

Sharjah 24: Saif Ali Al Hosani, the official in charge of the Signature Corner at the 44th Sharjah International Book Fair, stated that the corner is hosting more than 550 authors from within the UAE and abroad this year. Registration remains open until the final day of the fair, which runs from November 5th to 16th at Expo Centre Sharjah.

A dedicated space for book lovers and authors

Al Hosani explained that the Signature Corner is one of several key sections of the fair, offering visitors the opportunity to meet their favourite authors, receive autographs, and take commemorative photos. He added that the signing schedule is updated daily to accommodate the growing number of participating authors.

Simplified participation and smooth coordination

In an exclusive statement to Sharjah 24, Al Hosani confirmed that the participation process for authors is straightforward, facilitated through online registration and service points within the exhibition halls. Once registered, authors receive confirmation messages specifying the time and platform for their sessions. A specialized team manages queues and coordinates with publishing houses to ensure a smooth, well-organized signing experience.

Diverse genres and daily sessions

Al Hosani noted that the book signing program operates on a daily schedule, with morning and evening sessions covering various genres — including novels, literature, children’s books, and general knowledge. This structure allows readers to engage with a wide range of writers in a comfortable and organised environment.
