Sharjah 24: Asma Al Hammadi, Assistant Undersecretary for Creative Development at the Ministry of Culture, highlighted the Ministry’s participation in the 44th Sharjah International Book Fair (SIBF), emphasising efforts to empower creative individuals through specialised programmes and grants. The Ministry is also showcasing manuscripts and publications documenting the hunting expeditions of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.

Empowering creatives through grants and programmes

The Ministry’s pavilion introduces visitors to initiatives such as the "Culture and Creativity Grants" and the "Creativity Track Programmes," which aim to train and prepare creatives for the job market while opening professional training and employment opportunities in the private sector.

Showcasing falconry heritage

A key highlight of the pavilion is the book by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan on falconry. The publication documents hunting trips, includes technical information on falconry, and features poems composed during these journeys, reflecting the depth of Emirati heritage and its connection to national identity.

Celebrating artistic craftsmanship

In addition, the pavilion features selected artworks from Arabic calligraphy and traditional ornamentation competitions. These exhibits offer visitors a rich educational and visual experience, blending artistic craftsmanship with contemporary tastes.
