The event lasted two days, Saturday and Sunday, and saw the participation of 320 athletes from 27 different countries, both male and female.
UAE judo players added to their success by collecting a total of 36 medals across two age categories. They won 24 medals in the under-15 category on the first day and followed it up with another 12 medals in the under-21 category.
In the final round, UAE team excelled, winning 12 medals, which included two gold, three silver, and seven bronze. This remarkable achievement secured them first place overall. Azerbaijan came in second with a total of 11 medals, which included eight gold and three silver.
The winners of the championship were honored by several officials, including Dr. Nasser Al Tamimi, a member of the Olympic Committee and Secretary General of the Federation, along with key figures from the Sharjah Sports Council and Khorfakkan Club.
