Sharjah 24 : French striker Kylian Mbappé continued his dazzling form, leading Real Madrid to strengthen their position at the top of La Liga with a 4–0 home win over Valencia in the 11th round.
Fresh from receiving the Golden Boot as Europe’s top scorer last season, Mbappé stole the show by netting the first two goals (19’ from the penalty spot and 31’), taking his tally to 13 goals in 11 league appearances this season, and 18 in 14 matches across all competitions.
English midfielder Jude Bellingham added the third (44’), confirming his return to top form after summer shoulder surgery, scoring for the third consecutive match following goals against Juventus in the Champions League, and Barcelona and Valencia in La Liga.
Álvaro Carreras completed the rout with the fourth goal (82’), in a match that also saw Brazilian forward Vinícius Júnior miss a penalty saved by goalkeeper Julen Agirrezabala (43’).
