The Sharjah Sports Council, Al Bidayer Stud, Dubai Arabian Horse Stud, Sharjah Equine Hospital, and Sharjah Sports TV are all supporting the three-day event, which is organised in collaboration with the European Conference of Arab Horse Organisations (ECAHO) and the Emirates Arabian Horse Society.
The festival will showcase 265 locally bred Arabian horses from various studs, clubs, and stables throughout the UAE. The first round will be for one-year-old fillies separated into three categories (A, B, and C), with 41 participants, followed by the second round for two-year-old fillies (A, B), with 31 entrants, and the third for three-year-old fillies (A, B), with 34 participants. The opening day will end with the filly rounds.
The second day will begin with the fourth round for mares aged four years and up (A, B), with 36 entries, followed by the fifth round for one-year-old colts (A, B), with 27 entries. The sixth round for two-year-old colts (A, B) will see 28 entrants, and the day will conclude with the seventh round for three-year-old colts (A, B), which will have 23 competitors.
The final day will begin with the eighth round for stallions aged four years and up, separated into three categories (A, B, and C) with 45 entrants, followed by six championship rounds: one-year-old fillies, mares, one-year-old colts, colts, and stallions. The festival will finish with the crowning of gold, silver, and bronze winners in each category.
The six championship rounds will conclude the Sharjah Arabian Horse Festival—local production. Horses who finish first, second, and third in the age-specific rounds will advance to the respective championship categories to compete for gold, silver, and bronze medals.
