The Sharjah Department of Agriculture and Livestock (SDAL), which is exhibiting under the Sharjah Government Pavilion at GITEX Global 2025, is highlighting two major projects implemented under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, aimed at increasing self-sufficiency and food security.

Lamia Al Suwaidi, a member of the SDAL team, told "Sharjah 24" that the first project, Mazraati Platform, includes all of the department's agricultural and animal services. Among its primary services are the Agricultural Computing Project and consultancy services for agricultural and veterinary guidance.

Al Suwaidi explained that the second project, the Supply Chain Automation Project, uses technology to improve supply chain efficiency while eliminating human interference. The project employs cutting-edge technology such as artificial intelligence, robots, digital process automation, and the Internet of Things (IoT).

These projects aim to achieve a variety of benefits, including increased operational efficiency, reduced errors, improved inventory management accuracy, and faster operational processes like loading, unloading, and sorting.
