The second edition of the championship concluded at Mubadala Arena in Zayed Sports City, with the final round spanning three days and featuring matches for children and under-12 categories on the last day.
The championship included eight rounds held across the UAE throughout the year, covering various age categories with five rounds in the “Gi” category and three rounds in the “No-Gi” category.
At the conclusion of the final round, in the Gi category, Bani Yas Club claimed the title, Al Jazira Club finished as runner-up, and Al Ain Club secured third place. In the No-Gi category, SSDSC won the championship, Al Ain Club took second place, and MOD Academy finished third.
His Excellency Mohammed Salem Al Dhaheri, Vice Chairman of the UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation, highlighted that the second edition of the championship showcased an inspiring model of sporting and organisational excellence. He noted that the achievements across eight rounds reflect the wise vision and unlimited support of the nation’s leadership for the sports sector, as well as the tremendous efforts of clubs and academies to elevate the level of the sport.
Al Dhaheri added that the championship has become a national platform for nurturing future champions and enhancing the UAE’s leadership in jiu-jitsu. He expressed pride in celebrating the talented athletes who form the foundation for future sporting achievements.
During the closing ceremony, the UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation honoured the tournament’s sponsors in recognition of their continuous support and outstanding contributions, which played a key role in the success of the event and cemented its position on the national sports stage.
