Zainab Bou Hamada earned silver in the 50-55 kg weight class after a challenging match against Turkey’s Gulistan Turan. Meanwhile, Elias Habib secured bronze in the 75-80 kg weight category, overcoming Afghanistan’s Saeed Hamid Sadat.
His Excellency Abdullah Saeed Al Neyadi, Vice President of the International Federation, President of the Asian and Arab Muay Thai Federations, and President of the UAE Muay Thai and Kickboxing Federation, lauded the national team’s achievements. He highlighted that their performance reflects the growing development of Muay Thai at continental and international levels, supported by the UAE’s wise leadership.
Al Neyadi emphasized that the team’s success is the result of systematic work by the federation, the players’ dedication, and competitive spirit. He noted that these achievements represent a key milestone for the national team, reinforcing confidence in future competitions.
Mohammed Mardi shared that the bouts were highly competitive, with strong motivation from all participants across the weight categories to reach the podium.
