Sharjah 24: Salha Ghabish, the Head of the Cultural Office at the Sharjah Family and Community Council, shared insights about the launch of the second edition of the Sharjah Cultural Forum. This event was inaugurated by Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, the wife of the Ruler of Sharjah and the leader of the Council. Sheikha Jawaher believes in the vital role that the Council plays in developing the community across various aspects, such as social, health, education, and culture.

In an interview with “Sharjah 24,” Ghabish emphasized that this year's forum highlights the rich cultural, scientific, and creative achievements of the Abbasid era. The goal is to help younger generations understand and appreciate the accomplishments of their ancestors, who innovated and established a civilization that still influences the world today.

She also pointed out that the Cultural Office is particularly focused on engaging young people. That's why they encourage university students to attend, as they are the future and need to learn about the significant figures from Islamic history. This history is not just important to us but is part of a larger human story that connects people all around the globe.
