Sharjah 24 – AFP: Real Madrid bounced back in dominant fashion with a 5–0 win over Kazakh side Kairat on Tuesday in the second round of the UEFA Champions League Unified Group Stage.

Mbappé hat-trick leads the way

French star Kylian Mbappé was the standout performer, netting a superb hat-trick in the 25th, 52nd, and 74th minutes. His clinical finishing ensured Real Madrid quickly took control of the match.

Substitutes seal the victory

Late goals from Eduardo Camavinga (83’) and Brahim Díaz (90+3’) added the finishing touches, confirming a resounding win for the 15-time European champions.

Real Madrid rebounds after league defeat

The emphatic victory helped Real Madrid bounce back from their 5–2 league loss to Atletico Madrid last weekend. With this win, they move to six points in the group after also defeating Marseille 2–1 in their opener.

Kairat suffers another heavy loss

Kazakhstan’s Kairat remains winless, having suffered a 4–1 defeat to Sporting CP in their opening group game. They now sit at the bottom of the group with two straight losses.

Looking ahead

Real Madrid will return to La Liga action this Saturday when they host Villarreal, looking to reclaim the league lead after slipping behind rivals Barcelona.
