Expo Centre Sharjah hosts 56th Middle East Watch & Jewellery Show

Sharjah 24: The 56th edition of the Middle East Watch & Jewellery Show officially launched today, Wednesday, at Expo Centre Sharjah, with the support of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry. His Excellency Saif Al Midfa, CEO of Expo Centre Sharjah, announced the event’s commencement, highlighting the extensive participation in the show, which has brought together over 500 local and international exhibitors from 21 countries. The exhibition also welcomes more than 1,800 top designers, manufacturers, and specialists from the global jewelry and watch sectors.

An event with global reach and economic impact

This year’s edition, which runs until September 28, is one of the largest events organized by Expo Centre Sharjah. Al Midfa noted that the show is expected to attract more than 60,000 visitors during its run. He also pointed out that the center has made significant efforts to enhance the visitor experience, offering a variety of services and incentive prizes. A standout feature of this edition is the strong international participation, especially from leading companies and organizations in the diamond sector.

Boosting the local and national economy

Al Midfa further emphasised the substantial positive impact of the exhibition on Sharjah’s economy, as well as on the UAE’s broader economic landscape, citing the large-scale purchases that will help drive growth in this crucial sector.
