The programme offers a wide range of activities, from educational and awareness sessions to innovative competitions, alongside entertaining segments featuring popular children’s characters to spread joy and encourage positive engagement within schools.
The initiative seeks to develop students’ personal and social skills, instil values of belonging and responsibility, and positively influence their daily behaviour and academic performance. It also encourages creativity and excellence while creating a balanced school environment that combines learning and fun.
Maryam Al Muhairi, Director of the Social Education Department, emphasised that the initiative reflects the department’s vision to support young generations and prepare them for a bright future.
She said: “The ‘Marhaban Madrasati’ initiative is an educational and social message that stems from our commitment to enhancing the stability of both family and school. We believe the school is the child’s second home, and our role is to help make it an attractive environment rich in values and knowledge. Through these activities, we instil cooperation, discipline, and mutual respect, while building students’ confidence and equipping them with life and behavioural skills to face academic and social challenges. We also provide awareness support to parents and teachers, enabling them to be active partners in this comprehensive educational process.”
These efforts come as part of the Sharjah Social Services Department’s strategy to empower young generations and build a cohesive, prosperous society based on knowledge, family cohesion, and community awareness.
