The forum aims to enhance the role of elders, highlight their noteworthy experiences, and showcase them as exemplary figures for others in society.
Al Hammadi noted that this year's edition will focus on the topic "Renewed Giving… Unending Leadership", bringing together stories and experiences to benefit from the expertise of leaders beyond the age of 60. Abdullah Belhaif Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Sharjah Consultative Council (SCC), attended the event, as did other leaders who continually motivate the community with their knowledge and contributions.
He noted that the conference also addresses issues such as positive ageing and social well-being, with participation from leaders beyond the age of sixty, as well as a diverse audience from the United Arab Emirates and beyond, including South Korea, Kuwait, and Qatar.
The event had two primary sessions: one on success stories beyond sixty and another on positive ageing and well-being, emphasising the urgent need for seniors to play active roles in society. The conference also recognised the UAE's initiatives.
Al Hammadi applauded the UAE's major efforts to increase the role of elders, stating that age should never limit their vital contribution to society.
