UAE and Oman sign MoU for oversight and governance

Sharjah 24 – WAM: The UAE Accountability Authority (UAEAA) and the State Financial and Administrative Audit Authority of Oman have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation in oversight and promoting mechanisms for good governance.

High-level meeting in Abu Dhabi

The agreement was formalized during a meeting held in Abu Dhabi between Humaid Obaid Abushibs, President of the UAE Accountability Authority, and Sheikh Ghosn Hilal Al Alawi, Chairman of Oman’s Audit Authority.

Promoting transparency and accountability

The MoU highlights both nations' shared commitment to the principles of transparency, integrity, and accountability. It also reinforces their joint efforts in protecting public resources and advancing sustainable development initiatives.
