Sharjah24: Sharjah Ladies Club and its branches marked Emirati Women’s Day 2025 with a dynamic community program held at Collage Talent Center, featuring an inspiring array of empowering and engaging activities. The initiative reflects the Club’s continued commitment to supporting Emirati women and highlights their important role in national development, echoing this year’s theme, “Hand in Hand Toward the Future.”

Commitment to empowerment

Duaa Al Mahri, Director of Corporate Communications of Sharjah Ladies Club, emphasised that this occasion reflects the UAE’s national appreciation for the role of Emirati women in shaping society and fulfilling the vision of the country’s wise leadership in empowering them. She stated: “This day is a renewed expression of our pride in Emirati women and their contributions across diverse fields. At Sharjah Ladies Club, under the guidance of Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, wife of the Ruler of Sharjah and Chairperson of the Sharjah Family and Community Council, we remain committed to providing a nurturing and inspiring environment that supports women’s growth and enables their active participation in the nation’s progress.”

Engaging activities and workshops

The main club hosted a series of events, beginning with a panel titled “The Future is Emirati,” in collaboration with Sharjah Youth Council. The session featured Eng. Athari Al Serkal and Entrepreneur Fatima Almoosawi, who shared their personal journeys in entrepreneurship and innovation, their vision for the future of Emirati women, and messages of encouragement to young Emirati women preparing to embark on their paths in business and leadership.

This was followed by an awareness session on “Financial Freedom” in collaboration with Sharjah Islamic Bank, alongside wellness consultations and services provided by IBO Center. The program also featured a decoupage workshop in collaboration with Sharjah Classic Car Club, a pottery session led by Collage Talent Center, a live cooking demo with Emirati chef Ghaneya Al Hosani, and an energetic Zumba class led by Emirati Fitness 180 Instructor Manal Abdulla.

Exclusive offers and sponsorship

In celebration of the occasion, the Club rolled out exclusive offers across all branches, including discounts on annual memberships, fitness services, beauty treatments, and spa and hospitality experiences. The event was made possible with golden sponsorship from Sharjah Islamic Bank, and additional support from lululemon, Damas Jewelry, Teoxane, Raffles Dubai, Karam Coffee, Danata Travels, and in collaboration with Sharjah Youth Council.

Community involvement

Sharjah Ladies Club’s eight branches across the Sharjah Emirates actively joined the celebration. Wadi al Hilo, Diba Al Hisn, and Al Madam branches hosted panel discussions and creative workshops that highlighted inspiring stories of female achievement. Other branches engaged the community through exhibitions for productive families, fitness sessions, traditional arts, and cultural activities—reinforcing the Club’s collective vision to uplift women across all communities.
