Sharjah 24: Jassim Mohammed Al Shehhi, the Deputy Director of the Kalba International Youth Volleyball Championship, shared that 11 teams from various countries are taking part in the very first edition of this tournament. It is being organized by the Kalba Sports and Cultural Club with the support of the Sharjah Sports Council.

Al Shehhi expressed his gratitude for the significant backing from His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, who supports local clubs and events, including this new tournament.

In an interview with "Sharjah 24," he explained that the goal of the championship is to foster friendship and sportsmanship among the nations of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). It also aims to discover and develop young talent through teamwork and competition.

The teams participating in this championship include the Sharjah national team (both juniors and younger players), Kalba Club, Al Hilal from Saudi Arabia, Kazma from Kuwait, Dar Kulaib from Bahrain, and Sohar from Oman. Oman.
