Sharjah 24: Al Dhaid Sports Club recently held a meeting at its headquarters, led by Chairman Salem Mohammed bin Huwaiden, with various board members participating. The main focus of this meeting was to discuss plans for the upcoming summer activities program for 2025, which will be titled "Our Extraordinary Holiday." This program is part of the broader Sharjah Summer Program, supported by the Sharjah Sports Council and the Sharjah Government.

The meeting emphasized the club's dedication to nurturing young talent and enhancing its role as a place for sports, culture, and community engagement, aiming to benefit both individuals and the larger community.

Attendees included key members such as the Vice Chairman, Secretary, and heads of various committees. During the discussion, Salem bin Huwaiden stressed that summer activities are more than just fun; they are a vital way to channel the energy of young people and help develop their skills. He highlighted the need for diverse and innovative programs that cater to different age groups and community needs.

He pointed out that the summer break is an important opportunity to engage youth in activities that combine sports, cultural learning, life skills, and instill values of national pride and social responsibility, aligning with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Ruler of Sharjah.

Additionally, Salem noted that this year’s summer activities plan is part of a larger effort to support clubs in fulfilling their educational and community roles. He expressed appreciation for the ongoing support from the Sharjah Sports Council, which aims to create a thoughtful and productive generation.

The meeting also included discussions on how to work with local authorities to successfully implement the summer programs, as well as plans for a variety of activities such as sports training, community service, and innovation initiatives. A comprehensive media plan was proposed to promote the events widely and engage various community groups.

The Cultural and Community Committee shared ideas for workshops and training programs, while the Media Committee focused on strategies to enhance the club's visibility and image. The Institutional Excellence Committee stressed the importance of regularly evaluating efforts to ensure a positive impact on the community.

At the end of the meeting, Salem bin Huwaiden praised the hard work of all committees and encouraged ongoing teamwork to ensure a successful summer program that highlights Al Dhaid Club’s role as a leading community organization for youth, supporting the broader goals of human development in the United Arab Emirates.
