Sharjah Planetarium shows welcome visitors during holidays

Sharjah24: Asma Ali Hatawi, Assistant Director of the Sharjah Planetarium at the Sharjah Academy of Astronomy, Space Sciences & Technology (SAASST), announced that the Academy will offer public shows at the planetarium during official working days, weekends, and public holidays. The program offers a range of space and astronomy-related talks over the summer months, providing students and visitors with an opportunity to learn about the most recent advancements in the area.

She informed “Sharjah24” that the Academy is organising a series of scientific shows and films for the public and visitors. These presentations will take place throughout regular working days, weekends, and public holidays.

Hatawi noted that the planetarium’s scientific and documentary films cover a range of topics, including the aurora borealis, the International Space Station, black holes, stars, and the show "Deen Al-Qayyima," which tells the story of the universe's creation. These outstanding shows provide viewers a unique opportunity to discover the marvels of the universe.
