Gaza toll rises: 79 Palestinians killed in 24 hours

Sharjah 24 – WAM: At least 79 Palestinians were killed and 211 others injured in the Gaza Strip within the last 24 hours, according to medical sources, as the Israeli military campaign continues.

Rising humanitarian toll since October 2023

Health authorities in Gaza have reported that since the start of the Israeli assault in October 2023, the total death toll has reached 53,901, with 122,593 people wounded. The majority of the casualties are women and children.

Casualties continue to climb post-truce

Since the resumption of hostilities on March 18, following a two-month truce, 3,747 Palestinians have been killed and another 10,552 injured, according to the same medical sources cited by WAFA.
