The exhibition, organised by HCT, aims to instil the values of volunteering in students and highlight the importance of volunteer activities in strengthening cohesion and solidarity among members of society.
Fatima Mousa Al Belushi, Executive Director of SAVW, emphasised that the award's participation in volunteer activities falls within the framework of its commitment to integrating efforts with other entities to enhance volunteer awareness and knowledge. She explained that university students represent an important segment of the volunteering community, as they constitute a pillar of sustainable volunteering thanks to their energies and capabilities.
Al Belushi added that, given the importance of this segment, there is an award dedicated to university students among its 14 awards. She confirmed that SAVW looks forward to attracting more students, which will reinforce the award's vision of instilling volunteer values in the community."
Al Belushi also commended HCT administration efforts in supporting volunteer activities, emphasising that the colleges are among the leading educational institutions in this field and have a long history of instilling the values of giving and volunteering among their students.
