According to Khawla Al Ali, Director of the Government Communication Office at the Department, the accompanying workshops are considered a fundamental pillar of the conference—both for their importance and the notable names in the social field participating in them.
She emphasised that the list of workshop participants was carefully selected by the conference’s organising committee to ensure maximum benefit for professionals and those interested in this area. The second day of the conference has been fully dedicated to these workshops.
The significance of the workshops also lies in the caliber of the participating entities, which include government, federal, and Gulf-based organisations. The goal is to enrich the conference with diverse expertise and experiences that can enhance and refine the quality of social services.
The seven workshops include: Mechanisms for Social Observatories to Support Proactive Policies, Building Indicators to Measure the Social Impact of Services, Developing Social Research to Enhance Community Cohesion, The Future of Social Services with Artificial Intelligence Technologies, Strategies to Support Mental and Psychological Health in the Community, Developing Social Media to Enhance Social Impact, Managing Community Initiatives to Increase Impact and Sustainability.
The Department is also receiving attendance nominations for the 15th Social Work Conference from all interested and specialised individuals in the social field through its electronic platform. It underscores the importance of participation from all target groups in this conference, as it serves as an effective dialogue platform that contributes to discussing social challenges and exchanging experiences and knowledge among specialists and those interested in the social field.
