UAE Delegation heads to Indonesia for PUIC Conference

Sharjah 24 – WAM: A delegation from the UAE Parliamentary Division of the Federal National Council (FNC), led by Dr Adnan Hamed Al Hammadi, is set to participate in the 19th Session of the Parliamentary Union of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Member States (PUIC), held from May 12–15, 2025.

Hosted by Indonesia

The event will take place in Jakarta and is hosted by the Indonesian House of Representatives. The conference is themed “PUIC Silver Jubilee: Good Governance and Strong Institutions.”

UAE delegation participation

The UAE delegation includes several members of the Federal National Council, representing the country in key discussions on governance and institutional development.

Coordination and consultative meetings

On the sidelines of the main event, the UAE delegation will also take part in the coordination meeting of the Gulf legislative councils and the consultative meeting of the Arab group.
