Sharjah24: Dima Al Shamsi, Head of Media Relations at the Sharjah Book Authority, announced that the Sharjah Animation Conference has opened its doors to visitors this evening for its third edition. The event features participation from over 74 speakers from 18 countries and offers 35 workshops and 29 panel discussions covering various topics, including artificial intelligence, Japanese anime, and the adaptation of Arabic literature into cinematic and television works.

The conference is held as part of the Sharjah Children’s Reading Festival, a dynamic platform that brings together content creators from across the Arab world. Spanning four days, the event features robust participation from experts and professionals in the fields of animation and artificial intelligence.

Al Shamsi highlighted that the conference seeks to bridge the gap between the publishing and animation sectors, describing the industry as more than just visual entertainment—it is a vital cultural and intellectual medium that enhances creative content. She invited the public to visit Expo Sharjah and engage with the wide range of activities and showcases the conference has to offer.
