Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority (SRTA) is working on an exciting new project to improve the Sheikh Juma bin Mohammed Al Mutawa Intersection. The goal is to make traffic flow smoother and reduce congestion in the area. As part of this project, a third lane will be added, which is about 180 meters long. This initiative is just one of many that the authority is undertaking to enhance transportation across Sharjah.

Engineer Yousef Khamis Al Othmani, the Chairman of the SRTA, mentioned that this project is aimed at improving the emirate’s road system. With more cars on the road, it’s important to tackle traffic issues, particularly on busy routes.

Additionally, the project will create a new U-turn from the Yarmouk area to the Al Ghubaiba area. This change will make it easier for drivers to navigate and should help reduce traffic jams. The new lane will help distribute cars more evenly, making the roads less crowded.

Overall, this project is part of a broader effort by the SRTA to enhance Sharjah’s road network. The authority is committed to ensuring a safe and smooth driving experience for everyone, including residents and visitors. They aim to modernize the road system to keep up with the growing population and economy. This reflects their dedication to making Sharjah a leading city in transportation and infrastructure.
