Sharjah 24: Jamal Abdullah Al Mazmi, Head of the City Appearance Monitoring Department at Sharjah Municipality, explained that the municipality is intensifying its oversight and awareness-raising efforts in preparation for Eid Al Fitr, with a large team of inspectors.

Inspectors assigned to monitor beaches and green spaces

Al Mazmi stated  to “Sharjah 24” that a team of 186 inspectors has been formed to address behaviours and violations that distort the aesthetic appearance of Sharjah. Inspectors will be assigned to monitor beaches and follow up on beachgoers to ensure public compliance with all requirements.

Ensuring the preservation of Sharjah’s aesthetic appearance

Al Mazmi indicated that a number of inspectors have been assigned to monitor the city's green spaces due to the large influx of people to public parks during Eid Al Fitr. The goal is to ensure the preservation of the city's aesthetic appearance. He also urged the public to call the Sharjah City Municipality's toll-free number, 993, for any comments or inquiries.
