The Ministry organised the event at the Federal Police School in Sharjah, where parents could view training areas, explore recruits' diaries, and learn about the training their children undergo during their specialised training period with the Ministry of Interior. The event also included a Ramadan breakfast, allowing recruits to spend quality time with their families.
Communication and insights into recruits' training
Sheikh Saif spoke with the parents and shared breakfast with them. Supervisors at the school provided detailed briefings on the high-performance training that recruits receive, which strengthens their capabilities in handling various security scenarios and boosts their health and physical well-being.
Promoting national values and skills development
As part of the initiative, recruits attended a lecture on behavioural skills and discipline, emphasising the importance of national values, positive behaviours, and building skills such as discipline, commitment, self-reliance, and responsibility.
Parents' appreciation and pride
Parents expressed their pride in the arrangements made for the recruits, including housing, training, facilities, and various educational, scientific, and security programmes. These initiatives help develop the capabilities and culture of Emirati youth, preparing them to contribute to the UAE’s sustainable development. Parents also highlighted that national service instills loyalty, belonging, and sacrifice, promoting the concept of good citizenship among Emirati youth.
Attendance of senior officials
The initiative was attended by several senior officials from the Ministry of Interior, including Major General Khalifa Hareb Al Khaili, Major General Salem Ali Mubarak Al Shamsi, Major General Dr Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, Major General Abdullah Mubarak bin Amer, and Major General Abdulaziz Maktoum Al Sharifi, alongside a number of officers.
