Saif bin Zayed, Italian counterpart enhance security cooperation

Sharjah 24 – WAM: His Highness Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, met with Matteo Piantedosi, Italy's Minister of Interior, in Abu Dhabi to discuss strengthening bilateral cooperation.

Focus on technology and AI in security

The two officials explored ways to enhance collaboration in modern technologies and artificial intelligence to boost the effectiveness of public security and law enforcement agencies.

Joint efforts to address global security challenges

They underscored the importance of unifying efforts to tackle emerging security challenges and to establish sustainable security and stability through innovative partnerships and forward-thinking strategies.

The meeting was attended by senior UAE officials, including Major General Khalifa Hareb Al Khaili, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Interior, and Major General Mohammed bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Director-General of Abu Dhabi Police, as well as members of the Italian delegation.
