UAE, Slovakia discuss elevating bilateral security cooperation

Sharjah 24 – WAM: His Highness Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, met with Matus Sutay Istok, Slovakia’s Minister of Interior, to discuss ways to enhance security cooperation between the UAE and Slovakia.

Advancing shared security goals

The two sides emphasized the importance of elevating bilateral collaboration to broader levels, aligned with the visions of both countries’ leaderships. They expressed a shared interest in building qualitative partnerships based on mutual trust and joint initiatives.

Addressing cross-border challenges

Discussions also focused on reinforcing security coordination and addressing cross-border challenges, underlining the importance of international solidarity in promoting global security and societal stability.

Attendees

The meeting was attended by senior UAE officials, including Major General Khalifa Hareb Al Khaili, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Interior; Major General Mohammed bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Director-General of Abu Dhabi Police; as well as Ministry officers and members of the Slovak delegation.
