An exciting Ramadan faith journey on SBA channels

Sharjah 24: Sharjah Broadcasting Authority (SBA) channels are adorned during the month of Ramadan with rich religious programmes, aiming to consolidate the noble values of this holy month, and provide satisfactory answers to jurisprudential issues related to fasting and good deeds. They also focus on the correct recitation of the Holy Quran with the participation of a group of trusted scholars and sheikhs, so that the holy month is an opportunity to deepen religious understanding and enhance the spirit of faith.

Sharjah 2 Channel

Sharjah 2 Channel has produced a new programme entitled The Virtues of Friday, in 4 different languages: English, Urdu, Persian and Swahili. The programme is presented by a group of distinguished sheikhs and is broadcast on Fridays and Thursdays at 2:00 pm.

The Ramadan Council programme hosts a group of distinguished guests to discuss various topics and themes in religious affairs, from Islamic economics, Islamic life, and technological development. The programme is presented by Abdullah Al Hammadi and Omair Bullock and airs every Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday at 22:00.

Also prominent on the Sharjah Channel 2 programming network is the Islamic Perspective programme, which is a diverse Q&A programme in English that answers various religious questions. It is presented by Sheikh Mohammed Eid Al Muhairi and airs daily at 17:00.

One of the distinguished programmes is the "Reflection Podcast", which is the first English-language podcast produced by the channel, presented by Mr. Ismail Bullock in English. In each episode, he delves into various topics, life stories, and advice with a unique guest, and shows how Islam has reflected on them in their personal and professional lives. It airs every Saturday, Monday, and Wednesday at 22:00.

Among the interesting programmes we find the scientific miracle programme, values in work, the biography of the Prophet, religious insight, the personal mirror, Islamic issues, a question and answer programme, and the biography of the companions.

The channel also produced several programmes in the Swahili language such as Islam is the religion of truth and the honest and trustworthy.

The Holy Quran Channel

Under the slogan, "Be with God and God will be with you", the Holy Quran Channel from Sharjah enhances its content during the month of Ramadan with a group of programmes that highlight the linguistic miracle in the Holy Quran, tell the stories of its memorisers, and highlight the successes of Sharjah students around the world.

The "Quranic Differences" programme comes to reveal the subtle differences between similar words in the Quran, highlighting the aesthetics and eloquence of the Quranic text.

The "Hafiz Story" programme presents inspiring models for Quran memorisers, in which they narrate their experiences and challenges with memorisation and contemplation.

As for the "Sharjah Ambassadors" programme, it monitors the success stories of students who studied in Sharjah, then returned to their countries carrying with them knowledge and learning, to be cultural bridges between Sharjah and the world.

In addition, the Holy Quran Channel broadcasts Tarawih prayers live from a number of mosques in the smiling emirate as part of the Sharjah Readers event, which it holds in cooperation with the Department of Islamic Affairs.

Tarawih prayers are also broadcast on the channel's YouTube channel as part of the Emirates Readers event.

Holy Quran Radio

During the holy month of Ramadan, the Holy Quran Radio from Sharjah presents a group of purposeful programmes that enhance religious awareness and deepen the faith of listeners.

The programme "That is Allah" stands out, which highlights the greatness of Allah Almighty through the verses of monotheism, providing a simplified scientific explanation that enhances contemplation of the Creator's ability.

As for the programme "Paradise in the Book and Sunnah", it takes listeners on an exciting journey through the verses of the Holy Quran and the hadiths of the Prophet that describe the bliss of Paradise, stimulating longing for it.

While the "Fastabqu Al-Khairat" programme focuses on the virtues of good deeds, reviewing the texts of the Qur’an and Sunnah that confirm their great impact in this world and the hereafter.

Sharjah Radio

Sharjah Radio continues to enrich the atmosphere of the holy month of Ramadan with various religious programmes that combine recitation, interpretation, fatwas and educational values; our dear listeners have a daily appointment with the programme Our Life in Ramadan by Sheikh Muhammad Hassan Taher and Saud Al Hammadi from 19:00 to 19:30, and the program What After Ramadan? by Othman Diaa and Ahmed Badawi, which discusses the most important acts of worship associated with Ramadan. The program airs on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 9:00 am to 9:30 am.

As for the programme Qurat A’yun, it is presented by His Eminence Sheikh Diaa Al-Suwaidan with a group of children; and it airs daily from 11:00 am to 11:15 pm.

During the holy month, the most important live religious programmes that Sharjah Radio listeners are accustomed to listening to continue to be broadcast, the most important of which is the programme "Verses and Recitations" which is broadcast daily from 16:30 to 17:30. And the programme "Shariat Al Noor" presented by Sheikh Ishaq Abdul Latif; he hosts a group of scholars and muftis from the Department of Islamic Affairs and Endowments in Sharjah, and is broadcast daily at 17:30.

Sharjah Radio has also produced a group of new short recorded programmes that are broadcast throughout the day such as: Daily Worship, Abode of Eternity, Good Life and In the Orbit They Swim.

Radio Plus 95

For the fifth consecutive season, Radio Plus 95 continues to broadcast the Prophet of Mercy programme "Messenger of Mercy" Sharjah Broadcasting Authority channels are adorned during the month of Ramadan with rich religious programmes that aim to consolidate the great values that the holy month carries, and provide comprehensive answers to jurisprudential issues related to fasting and good deeds.

It also highlights the correct recitation of the Holy Quran with the participation of a group of scholars and sheikhs who are trusted for their knowledge and jurisprudence, so that the holy month is an opportunity to deepen religious understanding and enhance the spirit of faith.

Sharjah TV

On Sharjah TV, the programme "In the Bosom of a Surah" during the month of Ramadan continues its exciting journey in reviewing the rhetorical beauty of Quranic expression and interpreting the Book of Allah Almighty.

The programme is presented by His Excellency Hamad Hassan Khalaf, Director General of the Sharjah Broadcasting Authority, who interviews Dr. Amhamed Safi Mosteghanemi, Secretary General of the Arabic Language Academy in Sharjah, about the precise meanings of words and their uses.

The programme airs from Monday to Thursday at 13:05.

In the month of the Quran, the documentary programme "Celebrities of Reciters" appears to the Sharjah TV audience, shedding light on the biographies and lives of a number of the most famous reciters in the Arab world and their journey in memorizing and reciting the Book of Allah.

The programme has a daily appointment with the audience at 16:50.

The Fatwa programme also highlights, through which Sheikh Aziz bin Farhan Al-Anzi answers viewers' various jurisprudential and religious inquiries, daily at 17:15.

As for the programme "Ibad Al-Rahman", Abdul Rahman Al-Sahoud discusses various legal topics in ethics, behavior and the virtues of deeds. The programme airs daily at 16:00.

The programme "Then I Was Guided" reviews the experience of people who embraced Islam and the reasons that prompted them to think and reflect until they embraced Islam. The program airs at 19:45 after the Isha call to prayer.

Al-Sharqiya Channel from Kalba

For its part, Al-Sharqiya from Kalba has prepared for its audience a Quranic recitations program presented by Abdul Aziz Ahmed, which is concerned with teaching children the correct recitation of the Holy Quran and the rules of Tajweed, while providing a simplified explanation of some of the meanings of the verses. The programme airs daily at 17:45.

The channel also sheds light on the Islamic heritage in the region through the program "Al-Sharqiya Mosques", which is a documentary that reviews the history and importance of old and historical mosques in the Eastern Region. It is shown at 18:30.

Al Wusat Channel

Al Wusat Channel from Dhaid has enhanced its network of distinguished programmes during the holy month, with the religious programme "Noor Al Quran" presented by His Eminence Sheikh Ahmed Al Mukhtar, which hosts a group of Al Azhar scholars who discuss a simplified interpretation of the verses of the Holy Quran.

The programme is broadcast to its viewers daily at 1:00 pm, and is rebroadcast at 4:30 am the following day. Al Wasat Channel also broadcasts live daily the Isha and Tarawih prayers from Al Iffa Mosque located near the fort of Dhaid city.

y" which reviews the biography of the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, in an interesting and distinctive style prepared and presented by Hajj Idris Mirs. The programme consists of 30 episodes and is broadcast daily at 6:30 pm.
