SP prepares integrated security and traffic plan for Ramadan

Sharjah 24: Sharjah Police (SP) has unveiled its comprehensive security and traffic plan to ensure safety and security throughout the holy month of Ramadan. The plan focuses on enhancing public safety, monitoring traffic during peak times, and maintaining smooth road movement around mosques and Ramadan tents.

Key elements of the plan

The strategy includes addressing negative behaviors such as begging, unlicensed donations, and street vendors. Sharjah Police will also monitor road conditions and organise traffic around key areas to ensure safety.

Ongoing awareness campaigns

Brigadier Dr Ahmed Saeed Al Naour praised community cooperation and announced continued awareness campaigns on safe driving and avoiding illegal parking near Ramadan tents and mosques. He encouraged the public to report any concerns to improve security during the month.
