Dibba Al Hisn Municipality welcomes the month of Ramadan

Sharjah 24: Dibba Al Hisn Municipality announced its full readiness to receive the holy month of Ramadan, as it will provide its services at the announced times, and will intensify inspection campaigns on all facilities in the city, while the municipality has finished decorating the virtuous city with innovative Ramadan designs that reflect the heritage and spiritual character of this holy month.

The municipality's departments have prepared well-studied plans and specialised and integrated programmes that enhance their supervisory and awareness role and provide the best services to the public during the month of Ramadan. Departments are also intensifying their efforts in following up on food establishments, especially due to the great turnout, to preserve the health and safety of the residents.

Customer Happiness Centres

In this context, Maryam Rashidouh, Director of the Customer and Employee Happiness Department, said that customer happiness centres in the municipality will open their doors to the public, from nine in the morning until two-thirty in the afternoon, from Monday to Thursday.

Rashidouh stressed that the municipality urges the public to contact the call centre at 993 to report any comments and receive all inquiries around the clock.

City Parks

Khadija Najib, in charge of the Agriculture Department at Dibba Al Hisn Municipality, reviewed the working hours of the parks in Dibba Al Hisn, which will be open to everyone throughout the week from 4 pm to 2 am.

Decorating the Virtuous City

Engineer Raja Mohammed Al Naqbi, Director of the Engineering Services Department at the municipality, explained that the department has decorated the streets, roundabouts, public squares, parks and main intersections with engineering designs, columns with Islamic decorations and amazing illuminated sculptures.

Municipality Ramadan Market

Ayman Fadel, in charge of the Public Health Department at the Municipality, said that the department has prepared an integrated work plan for the month of Ramadan, and the inspection teams in the Municipality are making great efforts to maintain the health and safety of all members of society. He added that the goal of the intensive inspection campaigns and tours carried out by the Municipality in conjunction with the month of Ramadan, is to protect the consumer and to ensure the safety of food products and general hygiene, and whether food establishments adhere to health, precautionary and preventive requirements.
