The four-day festival features heritage and cultural activities, folk arts, children’s workshops and interactive competitions, aiming to highlight the city’s maritime, heritage and cultural legacy.
The 13th edition of the Dibba Al Hisn Al Maleh and Fishing Festival kicked off, on Thursday, with broad participation from government entities, productive families and commercial licence holders, as part of a diverse four-day programme.
Al Dhahouri said the festival is seeing the participation of around 20 government entities this year, along with more than 50 productive families and holders of commercial and accreditation licences from Dibba Al Hisn, Khorfakkan and Kalba.
Speaking to “Sharjah 24,” Al Dhahouri noted that the current edition features a diverse range of events and activities, including folk groups, dialogue sessions, workshops for children and a games area, as well as a stage hosting competitions and interactive quizzes.
