Mohammed bin Rashid reviews RAILBUS and Therme Dubai at WGS 2025

Sharjah 24 – WAM: His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, accompanied by key Dubai leaders, visited the Roads and Transport Authority’s (RTA) stand at the World Governments Summit 2025 to review two innovative projects.

RAILBUS: A sustainable and autonomous mass transit system

Sheikh Mohammed was briefed on RAILBUS, a solar-powered, autonomous transit system designed to redefine urban mobility. The system aligns with Dubai’s Net Zero and autonomous transport strategies, offering an efficient, eco-friendly public transport solution. Featuring solar energy, lightweight materials, and advanced 3D printing technology, RAILBUS promises lower costs, enhanced efficiency, and seamless integration with Dubai’s public transport network.

Therme Dubai: A world-class wellbeing resort

Sheikh Mohammed also explored the Therme Dubai project, a groundbreaking wellbeing resort set to become the tallest of its kind in the world. Located in Zabeel Park, the resort will offer thermal pools, water slides, relaxation areas, and the largest indoor botanical garden. Designed with sustainability in mind, the project aims to provide a transformative visitor experience while promoting environmental conservation.
