Sheikh Mohammed emphasised that government innovation is critical for enhancing communities’ quality of life and ensuring a better future for upcoming generations. He noted that the UAE has focused on innovation and future foresight from the beginning, leading to unprecedented global achievements across various sectors.
The exhibit featured 10 distinguished projects selected from over 150 innovative global initiatives. Among these were groundbreaking projects such as the U.S.-developed 'Digital Food Twin Model' for food security, and Palau's environmental conservation-driven 'Palau Pledge' that requires tourists to sign a commitment to responsible tourism.
Other innovative projects included Italy's crisis response platform 'Volontari SOS,' Australia's 'Dragonfly Thinking' AI for complex challenges, and the UK's 'Fridgeconomics' approach, which analyzes refrigerator contents to uncover emerging consumer trends. Additionally, a collaboration between the UK and Cameroon is empowering communities with AI-driven biotechnology, and the Netherlands introduced the 'Hacking Method' to overcome bureaucratic obstacles in social care.
The World Governments Summit 2025 brought together global leaders, organizations, and innovators to share insights on shaping the future. It featured over 200 interactive sessions and the launch of 30 strategic reports, highlighting the importance of innovative thinking for effective governance and societal progress.
