Sharjah 24: His Excellency Tariq Saeed Allay, Director General of the Sharjah Government Media Bureau, revealed that around 1,500 male and female competitors participated in the Tigers Obstacle Race organised by the Bureau in Khorfakkan on Saturday.

Overview of the event

The Sharjah Government Media Bureau hosted the Tigers Obstacle Race – Khorfakkan 2025, which saw a huge turnout of citizens and residents from various emirates across the country. His Excellency Tariq Saeed Allay shared that the race began at the Khorfakkan Amphitheatre square and concluded at the same location, making it a thrilling and challenging competition.

Race categories and challenging terrain

The race was divided into three categories: a children's category, a 4 km category, and an 8 km category. Participants faced varying terrain, including flat land, valleys, and mountain climbs. The course was designed with approximately 20 natural and artificial obstacles, testing the competitors' endurance and agility.

Promoting sports and showcasing Khorfakkan's beauty

His Excellency Tariq Saeed Allay confirmed that alongside the race, several exciting accompanying events were held to promote the culture of sports. The event also highlighted the natural beauty of Khorfakkan, showcasing the city’s stunning landscapes and encouraging active participation in sports within the community.
