Jewels of Emirates Show attracts over 7,000 visitors

Sharjah24: The sixth edition of the “Jewels of Emirates” Show concluded on a high note in Sharjah on Sunday, attracting more than 7,000 visitors throughout its five-day duration, an increase of 40 per cent in comparison to the previous edition.
Organised by the Expo Centre Sharjah with support from the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), this year's exceptional edition featured the participation of over 160 exhibitors and 500 top-tier local and international jewellery brands. These brands presented their latest collections in diamond, gold, silver, gemstones, pearls, and luxury watches.

Emirati designers shine
Emirati jewellery designers showcased remarkable heritage-inspired collections on the “Emirati Goldsmiths” Platform. Their exquisite craftsmanship captivated audiences with unique aesthetic appeal and artistic brilliance, highlighting the rich cultural heritage of the UAE.

International participation
Major jewellery companies from the UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Singapore, Thailand, Russia, Turkey, Pakistan, India, and Italy showcased the latest trends in gold ornaments, luxury timepieces, diamonds, and precious gemstones, reinforcing the exhibition’s status as a premier platform for the jewellery industry.

Sharjah pearls exhibition
The Sharjah Pearls Exhibition was a notable addition, held under the “Emirati Goldsmiths” Platform in collaboration with "Suwaidi Pearls." Visitors explored luxurious and rare natural pearls sourced from the seas of Sharjah, including century-old pieces and premium silver and golden pearls.

Expert panel discussion
The exhibition hosted an expert-led panel discussion on the historical and cultural journey of the UAE’s pearling industry. This session highlighted the significance of pearls along the UAE’s coasts and their connection to traditional pearl diving, offering captivating storytelling about the experiences of forefathers.

Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, CEO of Expo Centre Sharjah, emphasized the remarkable turnout of visitors and extensive participation of exhibitors. He noted that the exhibition is pivotal in supporting the local gold and jewellery market, providing opportunities for local businesses and empowering Emirati designers.

Highlights from exhibitors
Exhibiting brands showcased a stunning array of luxurious gold collections and artistic masterpieces. A highlight was the bespoke collection by Salem Al Shueibi Jewellery, crafted by Emirati designer Shamma Al Hallami, blending traditional elements with contemporary designs. Jawhara Jewellery also presented a distinctive collection featuring locally crafted pieces with precious stones.

Exciting surprises for visitors
The five-day show delighted visitors with exciting surprises, including opportunities to win valuable gold and diamond prizes. Attendees enjoyed exclusive promotions and significant discounts on a wide selection of jewellery collections, encompassing gold, diamonds, pearls, and various precious metals and gemstones.
