Equipping employees with life-saving skills
Participants gained the capacity to respond efficiently to medical emergencies and crucial life-saving skills during the course. Providing staff with practical knowledge and basic medical care practices, it aimed to raise health awareness and create a first aid culture.
Comprehensive training content
The training covered key first aid principles, including CPR for adults and children, wound care, severe bleeding management, burn treatment, fracture handling, muscle injuries, choking response, and poisoning treatment. Participants also learnt about the contents of a first aid kit and how to use it correctly.
An interactive and practical learning approach
The course combined theoretical explanations with practical applications, allowing participants to apply their newly acquired skills under the supervision of certified trainers from the Emirates Red Crescent.
Commitment to workplace safety
Amina Al Hashimi, Head of the Business Continuity Management Committee at the Foundation, highlighted that the training aligns with the institution’s commitment to emergency preparedness and workplace safety. She emphasised that empowering employees with first aid skills significantly enhances safety cultures and reduces potential risks in the workplace and daily life.

Participants expressed appreciation for the initiative, recognising the importance of first aid training in boosting their confidence to act appropriately during emergencies, which benefits their work environment, personal lives, and the wider community.
Ongoing awareness initiatives
In an effort to raise awareness of health issues among foundation staff and foster a more accommodating and responsive workplace, the organisation is launching this course as part of a larger awareness campaign in partnership with appropriate authorities.
