Saud bin Saqr attends UAE-India Partnership Business meet

Sharjah 24 – WAM: His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, attended the “UAE-India: Partnership for Enduring Prosperity-Business Meet” at the Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah.

The event was attended by Uday Samant, Cabinet Minister for Industries, and Satish Kumar Sivan, Consul-General of India to Dubai, along with prominent business leaders and company representatives.

Sheikh Saud's address on strengthening UAE-India relations

In his speech, Sheikh Saud emphasized the solid foundations of UAE-India relations, focusing on mutual understanding, respect, and shared prosperity goals. He stressed Ras Al Khaimah’s desire to enhance cooperation with India, which will lead to economic success, job creation, and new trade and investment opportunities.

MoUs signed to enhance cooperation

Sheikh Saud witnessed the signing of two MoUs between Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zones (RAKEZ) and Indian organizations, aimed at supporting Indian companies and enhancing trade relations.

Announcement of the Global Maharashtra Business Forum

The “Global Maharashtra Business Forum” was announced as a platform to bring together entrepreneurs, investors, and key decision-makers to foster dialogue and strengthen bilateral relations between the UAE and India.
