UAE President discusses cooperation with Indian minister

Sharjah 24 – WAM: UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan Tuesday received His Excellency Dr. Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, Minister of External Affairs of the Republic of India, who is on a visit to the UAE.

Diplomatic greetings and wishing continued prosperity

During their meeting at Qasr Al Bahr in Abu Dhabi, the Indian Minister conveyed the greetings of His Excellency Prime Minister Narendra Modi, along with his best wishes for continued prosperity for the UAE. In return, President Sheikh Mohamed extended his regards to Prime Minister Modi, wishing India and its people further growth and progress.

Strengthening UAE-India bilateral relations

The discussions explored various aspects of the bilateral relationship within the framework of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership and Comprehensive Economic Partnership between the UAE and India, as well as opportunities to enhance these ties. They also addressed several regional and international issues of mutual interest.
