Sharjah 24 – WAM: His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, emphasised the UAE’s continuous efforts to improve its housing system to effectively support citizens' needs.

Over AED 1 billion in housing approvals for 1,300 citizens

In January, the Sheikh Zayed Housing Programme issued approvals benefiting over 1,300 citizens, with a total value exceeding AED1 billion. Sheikh Mohammed also mentioned that efforts are underway to increase the number of beneficiaries throughout the year.

Achievements in the housing sector over the past two years

Reflecting on the past two years, Sheikh Mohammed noted that 13,000 applications were processed and approved, significantly reducing the waiting period to just two months, one of the shortest timelines globally.

The UAE is focused on promoting family stability by improving housing services. Sheikh Mohammed highlighted the goal of streamlining approvals, aiming to achieve approvals within a single day.
