The foundation was honored at a prestigious ceremony in the sisterly Kingdom of Bahrain during its third 2024 edition.
This award appreciates the Foundation's pioneering role in caring for orphans and supporting them through innovative development programs aimed at achieving sustainability and empowerment for orphans and their families.
The ceremony was held under the high patronage of Sheikh Salman bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Honorary President of Al Sanabel Orphan Care Society, in partnership with the Regional Network for Social Responsibility. It was also under the honorary patronage of His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa and supervised by His Excellency Sheikh Salman bin Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
A significant number of prominent figures and officials from various GCC countries attended the event, praising the Foundation's continuous efforts to provide comprehensive care for orphans, covering educational, psychological, social, economic, and other aspects.
Her Excellency Sheikha Jameela bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Chairwoman of Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services, congratulated the Sharjah Social Empowerment Foundation on this achievement. She emphasized that the award reflects the Foundation's commitment to supporting and empowering orphans and its leadership in humanitarian and social work.
Sheikha Jameela highlighted that the award is a result of the visionary leadership of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, which underscores the principles of solidarity and empowerment in caring for people in the emirate.
Sheikha Jameela noted that the honor is the result of tireless efforts by the Foundation's team and indicates a strong commitment to enhancing social responsibility and giving.
Mona Bin Hadda Al Suwaidi, Director General of the Foundation, stated that winning this award reflects the Foundation’s dedication to implementing best practices in providing proactive services and comprehensive care for orphans and their families.
Al Suwaidi emphasised the Foundation’s commitment to promoting sustainable development by providing a supportive environment for orphans to grow and achieve their aspirations.
