Sharjah24: His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has approved the establishment of an organic honey products factory and laboratory in the central region.
The facility will produce honey and pharmaceutical and cosmetic materials derived from honey, with the project expected to be completed in October 2025. In its first phase, the factory aims to produce 120 tons of honey annually.
The announcement of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah's approval was made by Dr. Eng. Khalifa Al Tunaiji, Chairman of Department of Agriculture and Livestock (SDAL) , during the "Direct Line" programme broadcast on Sharjah Radio and Television.
