Sharjah 24: Sharjah Children, affiliated with the Rubu' Qarn Foundation for Creating Leaders and Innovators, wrapped up its "Best Winter" camp, held from December 14 to 26 across 12 centres in Sharjah.

The camp, designed for children aged 6-12, saw approximately 1,400 participants and featured around 40 specialised programmes and workshops.

Exciting workshops focused on sustainability and science

Notable activities included the "Science Box" workshop, where children learned to create a smart irrigation system and other sustainability-focused projects. Participants also explored scientific experiments and robotics.

Developing theatrical and creative skills

In the "Shadow Play" workshop, children developed theatrical skills and created characters using moving puppets. They also participated in activities that fostered their creativity and imagination.

Promoting reading and cultural awareness

The camp also offered creative and educational workshops such as "Forest of Tales," which sparked children's imagination through animal stories and role-playing, and "Story Bingo," which blended fun with learning. Additionally, workshops like "Book Tasting," "My Blog," and "Korean Culture" encouraged reading and cultural awareness.
