Sharjah 24 – WAM: Air Arabia celebrated the inaugural direct flights between Sharjah and Vienna, reaffirming its commitment to expanding its network and connecting the UAE with Austria.
The first flight, which carried Dr. Etienne Berchtold, the Austrian Ambassador to the UAE, along with Air Arabia representatives, took off after a special ceremony at Sharjah International Airport.
The event was attended by His Excellency Ali Salim Al Midfa, Chairman of Sharjah International Airport Authority, and other senior officials from Air Arabia. Upon arrival, passengers were warmly welcomed by Vienna Airport Authority representatives.
Adel Al Ali, Group CEO of Air Arabia, emphasised that the new route reflects the airline’s continued efforts to offer passengers more opportunities to explore new and unique destinations.
