Sharjah 24: Paulo Bento, head coach of the national football team, confirmed the team's readiness for their opening match against Qatar in the Arabian Gulf Cup "Gulf 26" on Saturday.
Speaking at the pre-match press conference, Bento acknowledged the challenge ahead, stating, "We are preparing for a tough match and will do our best to achieve the best possible result."
He emphasised that past victories are behind them, saying, "Our victory in the previous two matches is a thing of the past, and this is another confrontation in a different tournament."
Bento expressed great confidence in the players' abilities, adding, "We have prepared well, and everyone is committed to achieving our goal."
